Cold-Chain Panel Bonding

A single-component, moisture-cure polyurethane adhesive (MPU-20) for laminating refrigerated-truck and cold-room sandwich panels — bonding metal facings to PU, XPS, EPS or rock-wool insulation cores. No mixing, no metering: it cures with ambient humidity into a tough, foaming, water- and temperature-resistant bond line.

How to use

Clean and dry both facing and insulation core — remove dust, oil and release agent.
Apply 180–200 g/m² evenly to one face (a glue-spreading machine gives the most uniform film).
Assemble within the >45 min open time; press or stack under even pressure. A light water mist on the core speeds cure.
Cure in under 4–5 h before de-stacking. Keep the drum sealed; single-component PU skins over once opened.

FAQ

Do I need to mix it?

No — it is single-component and cures with ambient moisture. There is no A:B ratio to meter, which makes it well suited to continuous panel and refrigerated-box production.

How long is the open time and cure?

Open / activation time is over 45 minutes, so you have time to assemble large panels; full cure is under 4–5 hours. A light water mist on the core accelerates curing.

What can it bond?

Steel and aluminium facings to PU, XPS, EPS and rock-wool insulation cores — the standard build-up for refrigerated truck bodies and cold-storage sandwich panels.
